Locksley Resources (LKY) has received assay results from its Tottenham copper project in NSW ahead of a resource calculation.

The latest results come from the last remaining drill holes from the company’s 2021 drilling campaign across the Mount Royal, Orange Plains and Carolina deposits.

The pick of the new results comes from drill-hole TORC026 which returned four metres at 0.32 per cent copper, 0.2 grams per tonne (g/t) gold and 3.16 per cent zinc from 38 metres, marking the first known occurrence of significant zinc mineralisation at Tottenham.

Other results included eight metres at 0.69 per cent copper and 0.23 per cent zinc from surface, and 10 metres at 0.65 per cent copper and 0.38 per cent zinc also from surface.

Results remain pending for four diamond drill holes that have been re-logged and had additional sampling undertaken.

Locksley has sent all compiled data to an independent consultant to calculate a resource for the Mount Royal to Orange Plains and Carolina deposits. The results of this work are expected later this month.

With COVID restrictions relaxed in NSW, the company has planned to re-log and sample multiple historical drill holes from the deposits which are present at the WB Clarke Geoscience Centre in western Sydney.

Shares in Locksley Resources remained steady on Wednesday, closing at $0.16 each.
