Mantle Minerals (ASX:MTL) has announced it’s kicking off a 122-hole drill run on-site its Mt Berghaus acreage in Western Australia.

An aircore rig will be the first to sink holes on-site the tenements in question with all approvals in place and equipment locked in for a start “within weeks.”

Those tenements are E47/4531 and E45/5899 under the WA resources regulatory system with drillholes expected to hit around 80m deep.

Drillhole target locations were informed by a geophys review conducted last year and the company believes it may have a shot at inking a Hemi-style discovery.

Drillers will ultimately be looking for promising areas of interest, with higher arsenic concentrations to be on the radar. An RC drill run is to follow as Mantle continues to progress other applications for tenements nearby.

MTL last traded at 0.2cps.
