Security services provider MCS Services (MSG) has locked in multiple contracts valued at over $4 million.
The company won a $2.6 million contract to provide its services at a major tourist destination in WA.
“We have provided the security services at this site for many years and to win the right to provide the same services again through tender is a great achievement,” CEO Paul Simmons said.
Work will commence on April 1 2020 and will continue for 12 months, however, there is an option to extend this by four years.
In addition, MCS’ existing contracts in three WA-based shopping centres have been extended for a period of 18 months, until July 2021.
MCS Security is responsible for the safety and security of 85 per cent of the major shopping centres in WA.
Its retail security offering includes control room and CCTV operations, uniformed security officers, concierge and customer service, loss prevention officers, car park management, hazard analysis and risk assessments, contractor management and event and store activation security.
“It is fantastic news for the business and again goes to show the respect, trust and confidence these clients have in MCS,” Paul added.
The extension of these contracts will contribute roughly $1.5 million to the company’s income.
