Minbos Resources (MNB) has completes bulk sampling at the Cabinda Phosphate Project.

The bulk sample covered 14 tonnes and targeted phosphate rock material from the high-grade zone.

The sample is now on its way to the International Fertiliser Development Centre (IFDC) in Alabama for blend and granulation optimisation, field and greenhouse trials.

Field and greenhouse trials are important for the company, providing technology and research sustainable, profitable and ethical food production.

The sample is expected to maximise the agronomic effect of planned IFDC field and greenhouse trials.

“The company is excited by the opportunity to develop its high-grade phosphate
fertiliser with several proprietary blends and organic yield-maximising recipes
currently being accessed,” Minbos said.

Additionally, the company is making arrangement to separately ship one tonne of molasses to the IFDC for use in the pilot plant trial.

On market close for the day, Minbos is up 3.70 per cent and is trading at 14 cents per share.
