The Watchlist — short video interviews with ASX leaders. Watch now.

Newly listed Normandy Minerals (ASX: NMD) was popular on HotCopper after it announced the commencement of its maiden diamond drilling program at the Halleys prospect in Western Australia.

The 2,000m program, funded by the company’s recently completed $12 million IPO, is designed to systematically define the nature and geometry of mineralisation, establish structural controls, and validate historical data within and adjacent to the pit.

“Commencing our maiden drill program in conjunction with our ASX listing is an important milestone for Normandy and demonstrates the company’s commitment to rapidly progress its portfolio of assets to build long-term value for shareholders,” MD and CEO, Josh Conner, said.

“Our initial diamond core program will provide critical structural and geological data to validate historical models and refine our targeting for the upcoming RC campaign. With over three km of strike to test across the Halleys district and an active exploration pipeline, we look forward to a busy and productive period ahead, with our first assay results expected in the coming weeks.”

NMD was up 50% to 10c.

Optiscan Imaging (ASX:OIL) reported the successful submission of an application with the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the Optiscan InVue precision surgery device.

This follows hot-on-the-heels of the submission for Optiscan’s InForm digital pathology device and marks another important advancement toward FDA clearance of its flagship real-time surgical imaging platform and entry into the US market.

“Lodgement of InVue’s submission with the FDA represents yet another key deliverable in the broader development strategy for our medical technology platform,” CEO and MD, Dr Camile Farah, said.

“It means we are now much closer to making a technology designed to give surgeons microscopic insight in real-time commercially available in the world’s most important healthcare markets.”

OIL jumped 12.1% to 18.5¢.

Imugene (ASX: IMU) was up after it reported it had achieved two further responses in its ongoing Phase 1b basket study of azer-cel.

Four further patients in Cohort 3 have reached their Day 28 assessment. Two of the four responded: one Complete Response (CR) in a patient with Mantle Cell Lymphoma (MCL) and one Partial Response (PR) in a patient with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL).

“Observing additional responses in our BTKi combination cohort provides compelling further validation of this strategy. The key here is that we are treating patients who have all progressed on BTK inhibitors and who have

high unmet need hematologic cancer with few therapeutic options,” executive chairman, Paul Hopper, said.

“With the combination of azer-cel and continuation of the BTK inhibitor, we are seeing a high response rate including in challenging tumor types like MCL and CLL.”

IMU was up 32.4% to 4.9¢.

Looking wider, the S&P/ASX 200 was up this morning, gaining 25.00 points or 0.29% to 8,707.10. Over the last five days, the index has gained 0.32% but is virtually unchanged year to date.

Elsewhere, the seven G7 countries have agreed to a coordinated release through the International Energy Agency (IEA) of 100 million barrels of oil “to begin immediately over four months, including a front-loaded substantial diesel release within the first 20 days.”

The G7’s released diesel and crude oil stocks will go into the global market through a coordinated release managed by the IEA to stabilise soaring fuel prices.

This follows the historic March 2026 IEA collective action of 400 million barrels, of which approximately 325 million barrels (over 80%) have already been released by member countries.
