Navarre Minerals (NML) has intersected up to 47.2 grams of gold per tonne (g/t) from the BV7 Deposit at the Crush Creek Gold Project in Queensland.

Throughout 2021, Navarre drilled 110 reverse circulation (RC) and diamond holes across the Delta and BV7 deposits and regional targets to expand and understand the inferred mineral resources.

At Delta, 55 holes, for 6730 metres, were drilled with all results currently being interpreted and geologically modelled.

Drilling has identified a continuous core of high-grade gold mineralisation across multiple holes with a peak result of four metres at 46.2g/t gold from 75 metres.

Other results include 25 metres at 21.4g/t gold from 75 metres, three metres at 20.3g/t gold from 113 metres and nine metres at 11.7g/t gold from 52 metres.

Navarre then drilled 30 holes, for 3852 metres, at the BV7 Deposit with results pending for 12 holes.

Preliminary interpretation of the results confirms the continuity of the lode system and indicates potential zones of mineralised extensions.

Best results include three metres at 47.2g/t gold from 81 metres, 11 metres at 10.8g/t gold from 39 metres and three metres at 5.2g/t gold from 120 metres.

Managing Director Ian Holland is pleased with these results.

“The company is extremely pleased with the tenor and width of the high-grade gold results being returned from the Crush Creek drilling program,” Mr Holland commented.

“These promising results reinforce our belief that the delineated mineralisation has the potential to significantly extend mine life at Mt Carlton. We believe Delta and BV7 have the potential to become two standalone satellite open-pit mines, just 30 kilometres south of the Mt Carlton mill.”

A further 25 holes were drilled across the Delta South, Hale Bopp, Max’s Vein, Apollo, Gamma, Taurus and Rigel regional targets.

The results will be integrated into Navarre’s 2022 drill programs.

Drilling has now paused for the wet season and is expected to resume in March 2022.

Shares in Navarre were up 12.9 per cent on the market and were trading at 7.9 cents at 12:26 am AEDT.
