New World Resources (NWC) has received high-grade assays from an additional seven drill holes at the Antler Copper Project.
Antler is located in north-western Arizona, USA, and lies between two private mining claims that cover an area of 40 square kilometres.
High-grade mineralisation was intersected in all holes with results peaking at 4.6 per cent copper equivalent from hole ANTRCDD202014.
This is broken down into 6.72 per cent zinc, 2.63 per cent copper, 0.64 per cent lead, 26.9g/t silver, and 0.26g/t gold.
Other significant results come from hole ANTRCDD202009 which returned a result of 7.3 metres at 3.2 per cent copper equivalent – 3.11 per cent zinc, 2.26 per cent copper, 0.19 per cent lead, 15.6g/t silver, and 0.18g/t gold.
Together with results from recently completed hole ANTRCDD202017, which intersected 24 metres of continuous mineralisation, these results have confirmed that the mineralisation is improving in quality at depth.
These holes were drilled to begin the evaluation of a high-grade plunging shoot that had been identified from previous drilling programs.
Assay results from hole ANTRCDD202017, and eight other recently completed holes, are pending and are expected in the upcoming weeks.
New World is continuing to drill at the Antler Project to evaluate the depth and strike extensions of the recently intersected thick mineralisation.
Company shares are steady and are trading for three cents each at 3:41 pm AEST.
