Noronex (NRX) has identified high-priority targets across the Witvlei and Dordabis projects in Namibia.

The three tenements cover a combined 78,000 hectares that are prospective for copper-silver mineralisation.

In March, Noronex completed an airborne electromagnetic (EM) survey which discovered the targets. These include new zones at the Dalheim, Okasundu and Christiadore prospects and multiple copper-in-soil anomalies at the Otjiwaru, Gemboksvle and Okasewa areas.

The company plans to follow these up with a trial induced polarisation (IP) survey at the Okasewa deposit to define its signature, determine the nature of the EM anomalies and to cover large untested copper in-soil anomalies.

Depending on the IP survey results, Noronex may conduct further survey work to define future drill targets.

The ASX-lister also plans to undertake structural and field mapping in the area to further define potential targets for drilling.

The future reverse circulation drilling program will include about 50 holes, for 10,000 metres, and will aim to discover more sediment-hosted copper mineralisation.

Company shares are down 14.3 per cent and are trading at 12 cents at 11:49 am AEST.
