Communications provider Norwood (NOR) has secured a second contract with Infosys worth $180,000, to supply proof-of-concept communication solutions.

The company will provide the communication solutions to an Infosys client which is a major Tier 1 operator in Australia.

Its focus is to showcase its artificial intelligence capabilities for advanced call management applications.

The contract is the second awarded to the company from Infosys, after the companies agreed Norwood would deliver an SaaS-based solution to Infosys’ clients globally.

Chief Executive Officer and Founder Paul Ostergaard said the contract highlights the strong partnership being built with Infosys.

“This latest contract holds positive implications for Norwood, well beyond underscoring the value of our ongoing relationship with Infosys, as it signals clearly the value and interest that major Tier 1 operators are showing in Norwood’s advanced and unique cloud-native communications solutions,” he said.

Shares were trading 6.67 per cent higher today at 1.6 cents at 10:19 am AEDT.
