Explorer Ore Resources (ASX:OR3) has this week confirmed “encouraging” new high-grade gold extensions at depth within fresh rock and along strike in oxide lodes at the Forrest prospect, after assay results returned from its Phase Four RC drilling programme at Miriam in Western Australia’s Goldfields.

Early results from the recent RC drilling have “delivered meaningful growth to the emerging multi-lode gold system,” Ore MD Nick Rathjen said today.

“This first batch of RC drilling results contains new high-grade gold intercepts that confirm continuity of mineralisation along strike and, importantly, demonstrate further extensions at depth of fresh rock gold lodes.”

A standout from among the results Ore shared today included drill hole FGRC055, which returned 25 metres at 2.82 grams per tonne gold from 170 metres, including a high-grade interval of five metres @ 11.22 g/t Au from 186. That represents a 90-metre down-dip extension from previous drilling.

The current batch of Ore’s results back in from Forrest covers some dozen of the 23 RC holes completed between January and February CY26.

Additional significant fresh rock extensions include: FGRC056, at 27 metres at 1.54 grams per tonne gold from 135 metres (including nine metres at 3.14 g/t) – and remaining open at end of hole – and FGRC066; nine metres at 3.55 g/t from 78 metres. Ore also reported that Single-metre resampling of a third-phase hole (FGRC038) delivered an upgraded result of 24 metres at 4.04 g/t from 37 metres.

“Phase 4 drilling continues to progress across the broader Coolgardie projects, with multiple exploration workstreams advancing in parallel,” Mr Rathjen said.

“With a strong pipeline of near-term RC and diamond drilling results and upcoming first-pass regional AC drill testing to commence in the coming weeks, Ore remains well-positioned to continue expanding its gold footprint and advancing new discovery opportunities across the Goldfields.”

Beyond the fourth-step programme, Ore is also advancing a broader 30,000-metre exploration initiative. There are several workstreams the explorer is managing, starting with the delivery of the second batch of RC assays (11 holes) and results from Sub-Audio Magnetics (SAM) surveys.

In late April, the western explorer will start aircore drilling at regional prospects and Burbanks East, before expected assay results from the recently completed 1,000m diamond drilling programme come in May.

Early Wednesday morning, OR3 shares are ~6c each.
