Pantoro (PNR) continues to confirm high-grade gold zones at its Green Lantern discovery in Western Australia.

Green Lantern lies roughly 270 metres southeast of the Scotia Pit at the Norseman Gold Project and remains open at depth and along strike.

Norseman is situated in the Eastern Goldfields of Western Australia, 725 kilometres east of Perth.

There are currently five drill rigs in operation at the Scotia Mining Centre with focus on extending the Green Lantern and Lady Eleanor mineralisation.

Work continues to define multiple lodes which remain open both up and down dip, as well as along strike. Additionally, near surface mineralisation has now been identified over a 400 metre strike length.

Best results include two metres at 20.59g/t gold, two metres at 14.85g/t gold, and two metres at 8.3g/t gold.

These results have indicated both a wide lode system and a narrow high-grade system.

“The new discovery to the southeast of the current open pit design has real potential to double the size of the planned open pits, and the wide ore zones now identified add an exciting dimension to the project,” Managing Director Paul Cmrlec commented.

“Drilling at Scotia will continue as a priority, and additional programs are also commencing on the historic Mainfield during the coming week,” he said.

Pantoro is up a slight 2.5 per cent on the market with shares trading for 20.5 cents each at 3:06 pm AEDT.
