Raiden Resources has provided updates on exploration activities at the Donje Nevlje Project in southern Serbia.

The maiden drilling program will test both the upper target and lower targets which were defined by an induced polarisation survey conducted in March 2019.

The program will comprise of an initial diamond drill of 1,500m across two high priority targets and two potential targets located at the Borovo prospect.

Dominated by volcanic-sedimentary rocks Donje Nevlje is a world-class copper-gold mining district with the Government finding zones consistent with porphyry style mineralisation.

The area was subject to many explorations in the 1960s however the lack of modern exploration it is believed that there is an opportunity for the discovery of porphyry and epithermal systems.

Managing Director Dusko Ljubojevic hopes that any discovery will elevate their position.

“With the commencement of drilling and continued strategy to expand our asset portfolio in the region, the Company is executing on its strategy to aggressively explore and make a discovery within a world-class copper-gold belt,” he said.
