Renascor Resources (RNU) has identified multiple gold targets at its Carnding Project in South Australia.

The project is located in the Central Gawler Craton, which is experiencing an increase in gold activity. Nearby is the high-grade Tarcoola gold mine, located around 20 kilometres from the company’s project area.

The company has found shallow gold drill intercepts of up to 16g/t of gold

Soyuz Prospect

The gold targets include the Soyuz Prospect, where previous drilling has intersected shallow gold. Results include; seven metres at 5.14g/t gold from 26 metres to end of hole, including two metres at 16.42g/t gold from 30 metres.

“Renascor considers Soyuz to offer drill-ready targets for Proterozoi granite associated, near-surface, high-grade gold deposits,” the company told the market.

Additionally, Soyuz also hosts well-defined soil geochemical multi-element rare earth-uranium anomalies.

Next Steps

Renascor is currently seeking approvals to commence further activities at Soyuz and other gold targets.

Company shares are up 23.1 per cent on the market this morning and are trading for 1.6 cents at 11.41 am AEST.
