The strongest result was 305.7 metres at 0.64 grams per tonne gold from surface in hole HH-GG26-003C, with several higher grade zones contained within the broader intercept.
These included 6.5 metres at 1.33 grams per tonne from 62 metres and 17.25 metres at 1.19 grams per tonne from 264.85 metres.
The other two holes also returned broad near surface mineralisation, with HH-GG26-001C delivering 49.5 metres at 0.58 grams per tonne from surface and HH-GG26-002C returning 32.6 metres at 0.49 grams per tonne from surface.
The results extend known gold mineralisation at least 2,000 metres south of Golden Gate North and have led Resolution to confirm discovery status at Golden Gate South.
The company said gold mineralisation continued through to the base of HH-GG26-003C, while the drilling also identified zones of shearing, silicification, quartz veining and pyrite associated with the mineralised system.
Resolution has now completed 33 diamond holes covering approximately 9,700 metres at Golden Gate, with another 28 holes already logged and submitted for assay.
The broader 2026 program allows for up to 13,700 metres across 45 diamond holes, targeting both gold and tungsten mineralisation at Golden Gate South and Golden Gate North. The drilling schedule has been extended through to mid September to allow the planned program to be completed.
The company still has a significant assay pipeline ahead, meaning further results will be important in determining the continuity, grade distribution and overall scale of the mineralisation.
Golden Gate forms part of Resolution’s Horse Heaven Antimony Tungsten Gold Silver Project in Idaho, located next to Perpetua Resources’ Stibnite Gold Project.
With further drilling underway and assays pending, the next major catalyst for Resolution will be whether subsequent holes can continue to expand the mineralised footprint and identify stronger grade zones across Golden Gate.
