Rumble Resources (RTR) has struck “significant” new high-grade zinc and lead mineralisation through drilling at the Chinook and Tonka prospects within its Earaheedy project in Wiluna, WA.
The Tonka prospect
Rumble said the first infill stage of drilling at Tonka successfully intersected wide zones of high-grade zinc-dominant mineralisation.
The results come from drilling at the newly-identified Colorado Zone within the prospect.
Two initial holes within the Colorado Zone returned 73 metres at 3.07 per cent zinc and lead from 106m, including 13m at 5.38 per cent zinc and lead from108m, and 7m at 10.71 per cent zinc and lead from 137m.
Rumble said the newly-interpreted Magazine Zone in the area was another significant sub-parallel east-west structure around 500m south of the Colorado Zone and was interpreted to link the Tonka and Navajoh prospects.
Rumble is planning to further drill the Tonka prospect in both the Colorado and Magazine zones.
The Chinook prospect
Meanwhile, Rumble received results from 84 drill holes at Chinook, with the mineralised footprint in the area increasing by 28 per cent to 5km by 2km. Mineralisation remains open in all directions.
Significant drill intercepts from a reverse circulation (RC) drilling program at Chinook include 20m at 3.63 per cent zinc and lead from 63m and 20m at 3.17 per cent zinc and lead from 136m, including 6m at 4.52 per cent zinc and lead from 142m.
Additionally, drilling along the Kalitan Feeder Zone at Chinook has advanced this area’s structural interpretation and led to the identification of a new high-grade east-west trending potential mineralised feeder dubbed the Spur Zone.
Shares in Rumble Resources were down 2.5 per cent to 39 cents each at 11:21 am AEST.
