SciDev (SDV) has secured a three-year contract with Iluka Resources (ILU) for the supply of MaxiFlox chemistry.
SciDev’s chemistry is currently being used at ILU’s Jacinth-Ambrosia mineral sands operation for the treatment of the mine site tailings. This will assist in maximising water recovery while minimising the tailings footprint.
MaxiFlox is a chemistry product specifically designed for the treatment of wastewater across a range of sectors.
The new contract for MaxiFlox chemistry is expected to generate roughly $14 million until March 2026, further extending SDV’s relationship with Iluka which commenced in 2019.
“Our ongoing relationship with Iluka reflects both the quality of our products and the skill set of our team,” SciDev CEO Seán Halpin said.
“We remain actively engaged with a number of international and domestic resource clients and we expect the sector to deliver future growth opportunities for SciDev in FY23 and beyond”.
