Silver Mines (SVL) has received significant drill results from its Bowdens Silver Project, located near Mudgee in NSW.
The company is currently undertaking a diamond drilling program to test extensions of potential source or feeder structures within and around the Northwest high-grade zone.
Interestingly, the Northwest Zone has previously returned spectacular high-grade silver results.
Assay results have now been returned for four holes, completed in late 2020. Results include 26.1 metres at 252 g/t of silver equivalent and 10.1 metres at 460g/t of silver equivalent.
Silver Mines reported that mineralisation intersected in hole BD20017 from 248 metres to 256 metres show breccia and vein textures.
Drilling continues to test other high-grade silver targets around the current resource and extensions at depth.
Notably, regional activities around Bowdens have continued in the latter half of 2020. A detailed gravity survey was completed and will help assist with the interpretation of the area.
On the market today, Silver Mines is up 2.33 per cent and trading at 22 cents per share at 1:09 pm AEDT.
