Sonia Madigan:

Well, we’re here at a function in Kalgoorlie for Siren Gold (SNG) and I’m joined by Brian Rodan who’s been involved with Diggers & Dealers this year.

Brian, what’s the message from Diggers?

Brian Rodan:

Well, the message for Siren Gold at Diggers is, you know, it’s a big reef up there, 45 kilometres long.

Siren Gold’s got 1.2 million ounces. We’re growing it to 1.5 million ounces this year. This year sometime we’ll be adding antimony to our resource base. there’ll be some big numbers and so watch this space for Siren Gold and Diggers, it’s great here at Diggers, lots of action in the gold front, it’s a very exciting time to be here.

Sonia Madigan:

Now of course Siren is operating in the South Island of New Zealand, is that a challenge when you come to Australia to promote a company?

Brian Rodan:

Absolutely not. New Zealand and Australia, the only competition we have is with the All Blacks and at the moment we’re not going too well but that’s the only thing New Zealand and Australia are linked together and there’s not a problem at all.

Sonia Madigan:

So when you reflect on your days at Diggers so far, Monday and Tuesday, what reaction have you had from investors?

Brian Rodan:

Look, surprisingly a lot of people are aware of Siren, probably through myself and promoting. Look it’s very positive for Siren Gold and I think you’ll find in the next few weeks you’ll see some good announcements coming out.
