SportsHero (SHO) has launched its football talent scouting app, Ellevate Football.

The Elevate Football app allows parents of aspiring young footballers to subscribe and showcase their child’s talent directly to the scouts engaged by professional football clubs worldwide. It also offers masterclass videos to help improve sporting skills.

Ellevate Football has been fully integrated with SportsHero’s fully localised Indonesian app, OlahBola, and will be marketed to its Indonesian user base of over six million people.

The company hopes the offering will generate recurring subscription revenue and new brand partners.

As per the agreement, SportsHero has exclusive access to Ellevate Football’s technology and intellectual property for use in the Indonesian market.

SHO and Ellevate will share subscription, advertising and sponsorship revenue generated from the three-year partnership.

The parties have also agreed to include an option to extend the partnership for a further three-year term.

“With the new Ellevate Football offer, OlahBola will introduce a unique and valuable opportunity for the substantial number of young up-and-coming Indonesian football players to be discovered,” said SportsHero’s CEO Tom Lapping.

“Ellevate Football’s functionality is a strong and complementary fit with our highly successful OlahBola app.”

The company said it’s already encouraged by the results of an Ellevate Football lead generation campaign, which yielded 70,116 visitors, with 23,700 registering their interest.

SportsHero was up 8.33 per cent, trading at 3.9 cents at 12:30 pm AEDT.
