SSH Group (SSH) has partnered with Four Hills Group to launch Four Hills Services in an effort to drive “direct Aboriginal economic impact”.

The partnership was formed thanks to four Indigenous Traditional Owner Directors and their families from across the Pilbara, Kimberly and Goldfields Regions of Western Australia.

Four Hill Services \will provide a wide range of plant and equipment hire, commercial fleet vehicle hire, and recruitment and staffing solutions.

SSH Group Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director Stefan Finney said it was a proud moment for the company to form its partnership with Four Hills Group.

“Our purpose is to improve outcomes for Australian projects and communities, and through this partnership, I am confident we are working toward fulfilling our purpose,” Mr Finney said.

“I am excited by what our business can achieve through this partnership, particularly through a focus on driving direct Aboriginal economic impact.”

Four Hills Services said it had adopted the Aboriginal Economic Participation Standard designed by Four Hills Group.

The Standard includes five key pillars around which Aboriginal targets are set, implemented, reviewed, and improved.

Four Hills Services aims to combine the strengths of both SSH Group and Four Hills Group in an effort to deliver high-quality people and equipment hire services to the different sectors of Western Australia.

Ashley Mesch, a descendant of the Kija Gooniyandi people of the East Kimberley region, has been appointed Managing Director of Four Hills Services.

Mr Mesch has more than 15 years of experience within the mining, oil and gas industries.

Ezekiel Kwaymullina, a descendant of the Palyku people of the Pilbara region, was also announced as a Non-Executive Director.

Mr Kwaymullina has more than 12 years of experience working in the indigenous community, business, and not-for-profit sectors.

Rounding out the team is SSH Group Managing Director Daniel Cowley-Cooper and Mr Finney, who have joined the Four Hills Services board as Non-Executive Directors.

From revenue generated, Four Hill Services will spend 10 per cent on direct Aboriginal economic impact.

SSH Group shares were trading at 15.5 cents at 3:52 pm AEDT.
