Twenty Seven Co. (TSC) has received gold assays results from its initial reverse circulation (RC) drilling program at its Rover Gold project in Western Australia’s Goldfields region.

The company said it achieved the main objective of the program, which was to test bedrock geochemical signatures identified from the gold in soil sampling.

During the Rover program drilling targeted the Harmonic, Four Corners and Blue Hills prospects which comprised 31 holes for a total of 2,161 metres.

For the 31 holes drilled, 4 metre composite gold assays have been obtained, including intersections such as 8 metres at 0.47 g/t gold from 52 metres.

The company said its field team is heading back to Rover this week to sample 1 metre splits which will be priority tested at the lab.

Twenty Seven Co. CEO Simon Phillips said the results will assist in planning future operations.

“These results improve our geological understanding of the project and will help shape future exploration programs. We look forward to releasing the multi-element assays from all holes completed at Rover in due course,” he said.

The company said the prevalence of what appears to be elevated gold in all the drill holes shows potential for Rover to host significant gold mineralisation.

Shares were trading at 0.4 cents at the close of the market on February 3.
