Elixir Energy (ASX:EXR) has been of major interest to HotCopper followers on the forums today after its share price took a dive on news it had elected to shut down Lorelle-3H flow testing to deal with surges in production.

The company needs to run a 2-3/8” tubing string to deal with surging and allow the well to be opened up past a choke setting and move into a uniform single-phase flow. The well shut-in will also allow further soaking of the stimulation fluid, improving near-well-bore permeability, which may enhance productivity.

MD, Stuart Nicholls, said drilling L3 well was a watershed moment for the Taroom Trough, demonstrating both a northern extension of Shell’s primary area of operations and drilling/testing results within Tinowon ‘Dunk’ Sands.

EXR dived -18.3%, to ~9.8¢ at the time of going to press.

Elsewhere, Dateline Resources (ASX:DTR) was popular after it confirmed extensive REE mineralisation at the Music Valley project in California. Mapping of the priority northwest geophysical target at Music Valley identified a 200-metre strike of the rare-earth-bearing Pinto Gneiss unit, the explorer said.

“These results are a very encouraging first step in Dateline’s exploration program at Music Valley. The sampling has confirmed the presence of rare earths at surface across the entire sampled area, with the NW Target being the biggest and most consistent of the target zones,” MD, Stephen Baghdadi, explained today.

On the news, DTR jumped some +6.25%, to sell at 17¢.

Finally, RLF AgTech (ASX:RLF) jumped after hitting a significant commercial milestone for its Axioma Biologicals range on the completion of a three-year commercial development program with a major Oz corporate grain grower.

The program has progressed from initial field evaluation through commercial demonstration to large-scale commercial adoption across the grower’s cereal and canola production, providing strong validation of both the Axioma Biologicals range and RLF’s staged commercialisation strategy.

CEO Stuart Upton said the program demonstrated positive yield responses across the majority of paddocks assessed, with the strongest and most consistent results achieved in wheat across three growing seasons.

RLF rose +11.1% today.

Looking wider, the ASX 200 was up early, gaining 25.8 points, +0.29%.
