PolarX (ASX: PXX) was hot on HotCopper after reporting exceptional assay results from the first holes from the 2026 diamond drilling campaign at its hyper-grade Caribou Dome project, part of the Alaska Range joint venture in Alaska.
Assays confirm that drilling intersected exceptionally high-grade copper zones.
The company’s most recent scoping study into the development of the Alaska Range project was announced in January 2024.
Key outcomes of the 2024 scoping study included a projected NPV of $625 million and an IRR of 73.9%, which was based on an assumed a copper price of just US$8,500/t and a gold price of US$1,900/ounce.
PXX was up 23.8% to 2.6¢.
Resolution Minerals (ASX: RML) was up on the ASX on its successful Nasdaq listing.
A dual-listing on the NASDAQ strengthens Resolution’s emerging status as a potential future American supplier of critical metals for the defense needs of the US and its allies.
“The commencement of trading on Nasdaq is a very important strategic milestone for Resolution Minerals and the natural progression of our growing presence in the United States,” MD, Ari Zaetz, said.
“Our focus remains firmly on advancing the Horse Heaven project in Idaho. At Golden Gate, we are undertaking our largest drilling program to date as we work to define the scale and extend of the emerging gold and tungsten system, while Antimony Ridge provides a second development opportunity focused on high-grade antimony.”
RML jumped 14.3% to 4.8¢.
Auric Mining (ASX: AWJ) was positive after it executed binding agreements to purchase two leases that together comprise the Union Jack project five km due East of Coolgardie in WA.
The project comprises granted mining and prospecting leases covering 89 hectares and has near-term open-pit mining potential, improved by its location being approximately 15 kilometres from the Burbanks processing plant.
Union Jack has an Inferred mineral resource estimate of 3.12 million tonnes Mt at 1.02 grams per tonne for 102,000 ounces of gold.
MD, Mark English, said the Union Jack project dovetails perfectly with the company’s strategy of acquiring near-term gold production assets within trucking distance of the Burbanks Mill.
“It’s so close we could almost wheelbarrow the gold!”
AWJ was up 2.13% to 24.0¢.
