WIN Metals (ASX:WIN) has wrapped up its maiden drill program at the high-grade Radio Gold Project in Western Australia, which the explorer just acquired – and it’s all good news right off the bat in the first of several updates.

“This project really hasn’t been touched,” said WIN CEO and managing director Steve Norregard in a Watchlist interview with HotCopper this week.

That has given WIN Metals the room to really bite into Radio, where it’s already dug up multiple high-grade gold intercepts, including grades of up to 33.95 grams per tonne gold. Mineralisation remains open to the north and at depth at the Repeater prospect, too, giving WIN an easy shot at a resource expansion.

“The opportunity is significant, and [we’ve] been vindicated,” Mr Norregard said.

You can hear from Mr Norregard and geology manager Will Stewart in the video above.
