Zenith Energy Limited has acquired a Power Purchase Agreement with Silver Lake Resources for an 18.3-megawatt gas-fired, power station at the Daisy Milano Gold Mine. 

Silver Lake is an Australian gold producer which, Zenith Energy own, built and operate since 2012. The Daisy Milano Gold Mine is located in the Eastern Goldfields district, approximately 50km South-East of Kalgoorlie.

The Daisy Milano Gold Mine proved its potential in FY18, producing approximately 158,000 ounces of gold. Subject to the expanded PPA, Zenith Energy will build, own, then operate the 18.3 MW power station to efficiently service the power needs of the mine.

“We are extremely pleased to have signed this new PPA and to extend our relationship with Silver Lake Resources. This agreement is a further demonstration of Zenith’s ability to deliver innovative, reliable, highly- efficient and cost-effective power generation solutions to support the diverse needs of our long-term clients in remote locations,” Zenith Energy Managing Director, Hamish Moffat said.
