Technology company Zimi (ZMM) has further expanded its product range with the launch of its Multi Dimmer Switches.

The Multi Dimmer Switches offer voice control with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa and are available in two and four button layouts.

The switches also include the new Ripple Smooth Technology that offers a solution to the problem of flickering LED lights during peak usage periods.

The Multi Dimmer Switch is expected to begin shipping later in the year with GSM Electrical placing a $200,000 opening order.

Shortly, Zimi will launch the Senoa product range that includes accessibility switches suitable for living spaces of people with disabilities under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

These switches are larger than Zimi’s other products and include voice control, colours, symbols and words for easier identification.

Further, the switches will be very cost-effective with pricing to be around one-tenth to one-quarter of the price of the systems used today.

“We are thrilled by this broadening and deepening of our product range. It reflects well on efforts by our team to firstly identify the needs of our client base and secondly deliver products that meet these needs, resulting in customer orders,” CEO Jordan Tentori said.

“The extended range of Senoa ‘Accessibility’ switches, that are suitable for living spaces occupied by people with disabilities covered by the NDIS, has a ready market that is continuing to grow. We are proud that we are creating technology that is improving the quality of life for a broad demographic.

“Looking ahead, Zimi has a substantive product pipeline that we are bringing to market. This includes a number of opportunities for Zimi to integrate its unique technology into third-party products.”

Furthermore, Zimi was granted a patent for an app that allows users to share networks in a more effective way.

The app allows a quick turnover of pre-configured smart homes via the scan of a QR code and is already being used in the Liberty One block in Footscray, Victoria.

Shares in Zimi were down 12.5 per cent and were trading at 0.7 cents at 2:58 pm AEST.
