Musgrave Minerals (MGV) has reported high-grade findings from the Cue Gold Project in Western Australia.
The drill program is testing new Starlight analogue targets along trend from the high-grade Starlight gold discovery, with multiple targets returning strong results.
Mineralisation was found on strike within dolerite rock in a similar position to the Starlight deposit.
Results include 6 metres at 11.5g/t gold from 18 metres and 24 metres at 3.4g/t gold from 18 metres within a broader interval. Follow-up drilling at the target has commenced.
One-metre assays from samples from the White Heat prospect have also yielded high-grade findings. These include 2 metres at 30.3g/t gold from 41 metres, 5 metres at 8.3g/t gold from 23 metres and one metre at 12g/t gold from 28 metres.
First pass drilling has now been completed across 25 regional targets with anomalous gold intersected over 20 targets – six of which include high-grade gold intersections.
Further regional drilling assays are expected later this month.
Musgrave Managing Director Rob Waugh says wherever the company looks they are finding gold.
“This is another excellent set of results from our regional drilling program,” he commented.
“The Target 17 hit is another strong result in close proximity to Break of Day with follow-up drilling underway.”
Musgrave shares are up 7.32 per cent on the back of the announcement, trading at 44 cents each at 11:27 am AEDT.
