- The results follow a 12-hole reverse circulation and diamond drill campaign and form part of the company’s ongoing exploration activities
- Key results came in at 34 metres at 1.4g/t gold, 18 metres at 2.2g/t gold and a 24 metre at 3.1g/t gold hit including two metres at 11.45g/t gold
- Once the remaining results are in, the explorer has laid plans for a further infill programme in anticipation of the maiden resource estimate tipped for mid-2021

Predictive Discovery (PDI) has collected a fresh round of drill results from its Bankan Gold Project in Guinea.
The finds follow an additional 12-hole reverse circulation (RC) and diamond drill (DD) campaign from the western at depth step-out program.
It forms part of the explorer’s ongoing drill efforts to test the prospect.
Key results came in at 34 metres at 1.4g/t gold, 18 metres at 2.2g/t gold and a 24 metre at 3.1g/t gold hit including two metres at 11.45g/t gold.
Contextually, the infill RC drilling confirms a zone of shallow oxide mineralisation at NE Bankan, with deeper drilling highlighting broad widths in fresh rock and hole-to-hole as well as depth continuity.
Once the programme has been wrapped up and the remaining drill results are in, the explorer has laid plans for a systematic infill programme in anticipation of the maiden resource estimate planned for mid-2021.
RC and DD programs at Bankan Creek will also target extensions to the gold mineralised system along strike and at depth, with a supporting regional air-core program to test targets beneath anomalous gold-bearing auger intercepts at the NE Bankan, Bankan Creek and Bankan West gold prospects.
Metallurgical test work is expected to begin in April 2021.
Predictive Discovery Managing Director Paul Roberts said the company was highly encouraged by the results.
“This program has shown that the NE Bankan gold zone in this area is almost continuously gold mineralised over approximately 200m of horizontal width to depths of 50 to 70 metres,” he commented.
Predictive Discovery shares are up 1.72 per cent, trading 5.9 cents at 12:21 pm AEDT.
