SportsHero’s (SHO) wholly-owned subsidiary EsportsHero has signed a five-year distribution agreement with Blackhawk Network Australia.

Blackhawk Network Australia is the Australian arm of California-based commerce solutions provider Blackhawk Network Holdings.

Under the agreement, EsportsHero will earn commissions from the sale of a curated range of digital gaming gift cards which include Sony PlayStation digital gaming products, among others.

This allows Australia-based EsportsHero users to purchase authorised digital gift cards for their preferred gaming brands to redeem online on their gaming accounts.

After five years, the agreement will automatically renew for successive one-year periods.

If the agreement expires or is terminated by either party, EsportsHero’s use of and access to Blackhawk products will immediately cease.

Further, the companies will immediately remit full payment for amounts accrued and owing before the date of expiration or termination.

Shares in SportsHero were down 15.38 per cent to 2.2 cents at the close of trading on Tuesday.
