The deal is for G-Series, GA, and GR high-speed jet blowers with pioneering water treatment firm Washnah, which has submitted a tender for the wastewater treatment works at the landmark King Salman International Airport. King Salaman is a major infrastructure development proposed under Saudi Vision 2030.

Sprintex’s MD and CEO, Jay Upton, said the appointment of Washnah as Sprintex’s sole and exclusive distributor in Saudi Arabia is another major milestone in the company’s stated strategy of expanding its industrial blower business into high-growth emerging markets with significant infrastructure investment.

“This exclusive distribution agreement with Washnah, combined with the submission of a major tender for the iconic King Salman International Airport wastewater treatment facility, represents a significant milestone in our international expansion,” he said.

“The scale of the tender – approximately 30 high-power turbo blowers up to 675 kW across the full wastewater treatment works – provides powerful early validation of both our technology platform and the strength of the partnership. Saudi Vision 2030’s ambitious infrastructure program creates a compelling long-term opportunity for Sprintex’s energy-efficient blower solutions.”

As part of the tender, Sprintex’s high-speed turbo blower technology has been specified as exclusive, providing a near-term deployment opportunity for the company. Tender award is anticipated during the second half of CY26.

The tender covers the full range of process stages, including grease/grit removal tanks, aeration tanks, membrane bioreactor tanks, sludge holding tanks, and equalisation tanks.

It incorporates approximately 30 Sprintex units ranging from 11 kW to 675 kW, together with comprehensive packages including acoustic enclosures, control panels with variable frequency drives and program logic controllers, IoT monitoring, and commissioning support by the company’s engineers.

SIX is steady at 7.1¢. Mkt cap $48.69M.
