Greenvale Energy (ASX:GRV) has discovered geomagnetic uranium anomalism on-site at its NT projects. Having only recently acquired its uranium portfolio in the Top End, Greenvale on Tuesday described the find as a “strong start.”

Flying overhead the Henbury, Tobermorey, and Douglas River projects respectively, 14.5 kilometres worth of in-fill lines have been filled.

At Henbury, the company logged outcrop sediments that are part of the Amadeus Basin; significant for its part in boasting the deposits other NT-based uranium projects tap. A 10km long anomaly has been interpreted as well as a separate 2km anomaly.

Douglas River, meanwhile, is the site of a 10km long uranium anomaly interpreted from the data “overlying a geological unconformity.”

Finally, at Tobermorey, “extensive uranium anomalism [has been] confirmed along a 20km strike length.” The discovery is reportedly 15km wide at its thickest.

The data backs up data from the late 90’s/early 00’s, according to CEO Mark Turner.

“The recent magnetic/radiometric survey was designed to in-fill the strong uranium anomalism reported in a previous government-funded survey completed at the turn of the century,” Turner said.

“The data will be combined with other available datasets to help us plan an extensive drilling program for 2025.”
