Adacel Technologies (ADA) has received a US$2.1 million (A$2.8 million) ATM system order from the Direction des Services de la Navigation Aérienne (DSNA).

This order is part of the 2017 contract for the “Acquisition et maintenance du système de contrôle aérien des Antilles” (Acquisition and maintenance of the Antilles air traffic control system).

The order will see Adacel deploy its latest Aurora Air Traffic Management (ATM) system as well as undertake a full safety assessment for the Fort de France Airport in Martinique.

The Aurora ATM system integrates oceanic, approach and tower control capabilities to manage the procedural airspace in a surveillance environment to improve airspace efficiency and safety.

“We have been working side-by-side with our colleagues at DSNA since 2015 and are pleased to have successfully deployed new systems in French Guiana and Guadeloupe,” CEO Daniel Verret said.

“Together, we are modernising the airspace management in West Indies as proud participants in DSNA’s SEAFLIGHT program. We look forward to future collaborations and supporting our customers as needs and technologies evolve.”

Based on the balance of FY22, Adacel expects profit before tax between US$5.7 million and US$46 million.

Adacel has ended the day 2.22 per cent in the grey with shares trading at $1.15.
