- Extensive mineralised halos confirm large-scale system
- Results define continuity of structurally controlled mineralisation
- System remains open along strike and at depth
- Drilling ongoing with further assay results expected in the near term
Ardiden (ASX:ADV) has obtained further promising gold assays from its ongoing diamond drilling program at the Astoria deposit, part of the Rouyn gold project in Québec.

Multiple drill holes have intersected broad, continuous mineralised envelopes ranging from 34.7m to 88.8m in width, highlighting the scale and continuity of the hydrothermal system surrounding higher-grade zones.
Ardiden’s MD, Andrew Stocks, told shareholders that in the context of an Archean orogenic gold system within the Abitibi Greenstone Belt, these halos are characteristic of strong, long-lived fluid flow along major structural corridors, and support interpretation of a laterally and vertically extensive mineralised system.
“These results confirm the presence of consistent high-grade gold mineralisation within the Astoria project area at Rouyn, demonstrating the strength and continuity of the system,” he told shareholders today.
“The combination of consistent high-grade intersections and broad mineralised envelopes highlights the scale of the system and supports our interpretation of a large, structurally controlled gold system.
“With drilling ongoing, we see strong potential to continue expanding mineralisation along the Rouyn corridor.”
To date, assay results have been received from eight diamond drill holes completed as part of the Astoria drilling campaign.
The results have extended previously reported high-grade gold intersections and continue to confirm the presence of both high-grade plunging gold shoots and broad, continuous mineralised envelopes.
“Importantly, the latest drilling highlights the increasing scale and continuity of the mineralised system. These extensions reinforce the potential for significant resource growth at Astoria,” Mr Stocks said.
Recent drilling at Astoria has intersected multiple zones of gold mineralisation across several holes, with grades and widths comparable to established underground operations in the Abitibi region.
Notably, the gold mineralisation intersected is beyond previously defined drilling areas, with demonstrated continuity across multiple drill holes
Mr Stocks said the results support the potential for a large, structurally controlled gold system. “Importantly, results indicate that mineralisation forms part of a broader, continuous system with high-grade shoot development.”
He added: “The consistency of both grade and thickness across multiple holes supports the potential for meaningful and sustained resource growth.”
ADV is up+8.57%, to 38¢. Mkt cap $81.66M.
