The ASX200 has been up around 1% at 8,210 points.

Counting in the US election is underway and markets are eagerly watching the results trickle in.

All sectors have gained ground and the Discretionary sector has been the best performer, up 1.4%, followed by Utilities, up 1.1% and Financials, up 1.1%.

Company News

Critica (ASX:CRI) has been flat after identifying a large intersection grading 3,075 parts per million (ppm) in total rare earth oxides. The resource is from drilling at its Jupiter target – part of the larger Brothers REE play in WA.

Critica has been 1.2 cents.

Australian Vanadium (ASX:AVL) has been down 3.1% on  kick off of Project Lumina, seeking to build a modular 100MW Vanadium Flow Battery (VFB) for use in Australia.

Australian Vanadium has been 1.6 cents.

Metal Bank (ASX:MBK) has been up 11.8% on news its confirmed its Saudi Arabian-based JV has won a fresh exploration permit in the Kingdom.

The JV, named Consolidated Mining Company (CMC), has been successful in Saudi government-led round 6 licence applications for a copper, zinc and gold project called Wadi Al Junah.

Metal Bank has been 1.9 cent.
