Bulletin Resources (BNR) has hit high-grade gold at its Lake Rebecca Project, located near Kalgoorlie, Western Australia.

One-metre sample splits from the company’s recently completed drilling program has found gold zones within wider gold mineralisation intercepts.

Results include one metre at 11.3g/t of gold within two metres at 5.86g/t of gold from 147 metres.

These results indicated that the area has potential for higher-grade zones and gold zones exist both along the strike and to the north east of the Rebecca gold deposit.

Chairman Paul Poli is pleased to have hit high-grade gold.

“These higher grade zones are key to developing an economic resource,” he said.

“We continue to build our understanding of the geology of the area and find similarities to the deposits immediately to the south of our ground. We have a large tenement package to explore and we are committed to finding another valuable gold deposit in the area,” he added.

Bulletin is now planning infill and extensional drilling in the area.

On the market this afternoon, Bulletin is up 2.90 per cent and is trading at 7.1 cents per share at 1:28 pm AEST.
