Hello and welcome to HotCopper Highlights to wrap up Week 35. It’s been another busy week on HotCopper, with AI, gold, lithium and biotech stocks dominating the boards. Let’s take a look at the stocks that had investors talking.
Listen to the HotCopper podcast for in-depth discussions and insights on all the biggest headlines from throughout the week. On Spotify, Apple, and more.
Starting with the most watched stocks, X2M Connect (ASX: X2M) has really grabbed attention after signing a binding agreement for its first AI-enabled data centre project, valued at more than $250 million. That follows the creation of a dedicated data centre subsidiary earlier this week, so the big question on the boards now is whether this is the start of X2M converting its broader data centre pipeline into actual projects.
AnteoTech (ASX: ADO) has also been hotly watched, after it reported that leads generated at a major diagnostics conference have significantly expanded its Life Sciences sales pipeline. That comes shortly after its strategic deal with South Korea’s Xerabrid, with HotCopper investors now focused on whether these partnerships and new leads can translate into commercial orders and revenue.
Brightstar (ASX: BTR) is also in the spotlight, after a monster week on the exploration front, with drilling at Two Mile Hill producing broad, high grade gold results. These latest results have sent the discussion into overdrive, with investors debating the scale of the mineralised system and what further drilling could add to the company’s broader gold story.
Now, let’s take a look at the most discussed. Liontown (ASX: LTR) remains one of the hottest lithium names on the boards, with investors dissecting the latest Kathleen Valley performance and what FY27 could look like as the operation ramps up. The conversation is also being fuelled by the improving lithium backdrop, with plenty of debate around whether the recent rally can continue and what it means for Liontown’s valuation.
BrainChip (ASX: BRN) has sparked plenty of debate around its latest technology developments, particularly the new Akida integration with IBM’s Symphony Community Edition. Investors continue to ask one question – when does the technology translate into meaningful commercial revenue?
Finally, Mesoblast (ASX: MSB) has again been a major talking point following its FY26 results and operational update, with Ryoncil now firmly at the centre of the investment story.
