Buy now, pay later provider Laybuy (LBY) has entered a merchant partnership agreement with UK fragrance retailer, The Fragrance Shop.

Established in 1994, The Fragrance Shop is the UK’s largest independent fragrance retailer.

It has more than 150 fragrance brands and over 200 beauty brands across its 200 stores.

Under the partnership, The Fragrance Shop customers will be able to use Laybuy to make purchases in store and online.

Laybuy Managing Director Gary Rohloff said the company was pleased to be partnering with The Fragrance Shop.

“The agreement is an important step towards the company’s goal of having Laybuy available almost everywhere consumers shop in the UK, whenever they shop,” Mr Rohloff said.

“We are delighted to be partnering with The Fragrance Shop, which is a cosmetics and beauty giant with 200 stores across the UK offering over 6000 products both in store and online.

“This partnership provides shoppers with an easy option to buy the perfume, hair products, skin care and makeup products that they love, and allows them to spread the payments over six weeks, interest-free.”

Laybuy has now partnered with more than 10,000 merchants worldwide, with notable brands including EB Games, Adore Beauty, Culture Kings and House of Travel.

Shares in Laybuy were up 3.60 per cent on the market and were trading at 57.5 cents at 1:20 pm AEST.
