M8 Sustainable (M8S) has recommenced construction work at its fully permitted Gingin landfill facility in Western Australia.

M8 is an integrated and sustainable waste management business providing diverse services to domestic, industrial and local government clients.

Over the past six months, on-site activities at the 150,000-tonne-per-annum Gingin facility were limited as M8S ordered, manufactured and tested critical cell liners.

Following their delivery, a mandatory 100-day testing period was then required to ensure the liners’ compliance with stringent specifications set by the Department of Water and Environmental Regulation.

With the independent testing now completed, M8S says it is focussed on key construction activities, including installing the liners and other infrastructure at the site.

The company is aiming to finish construction by November.

Late in the session, M8 Sustainable shares are up 4.17 per cent, trading at 2.5 cents at 4:40 pm AEST.
