Resolution Minerals (ASX:RML) has already completed three diamond core drill holes in its CY26 program at the Golden Gate target at the Horse Heaven antimony-tungsten-gold-silver project in Idaho, diving 763 metres of cumulative depth to assess the scale and extent of gold and tungsten mineralisation.

The three holes – HH-GG26-001C, HH-GG26-002C, and HH-GG26-003C – are ~500 meters south of the CY25 drilling area at Golden Gate South. Geological logging of these initial holes has already identified metal sulphides (pyrite and arsenopyrite) within altered, sheared, faulted, and veined granites.
These physical characteristics align with the features observed in previously mineralised holes at Golden Gate North and Golden Gate South targets.
“I’m tremendously excited by the style and extent of mineralisation and alteration observed in core of our very first holes of the current program,” said Resolution’s technical lead geologist, Bill Breen, this morning.
The explorer’s tech lead pointed out, “This style… elsewhere at Golden Gate is associated with significant gold and tungsten mineralisation,” and immediately sets up the CY26 exploration program for success.
This campaign represents the start of a larger calendar schedule at Golden Gate. The full program includes up to 45 diamond core holes spanning up to 13,700 meters (45,000 feet) of drilling. The operations are designed to test extensions of a 500-meter by 600-meter coincident gold and tungsten soil anomaly, alongside historical extensions where tungsten was last extracted in 1980.
“The fact these holes are drilled in a previously undrilled area, some 500 metres south of the mineralisation in the southern-most holes in last year’s program, only adds to the positive weight of these results,” Mr Breen explained.
To accelerate the timeline, Resolution has also brought a second MP1500 diamond core rig to the Horse Heaven site. It will start “early next week.”
The site sits adjacent to Perpetua’s recently permitted Stibnite gold dig.
RML is up +2.38% today, to 5.5cps.
