Stellar Resources (SRZ) has unearthed further “outstanding” tin intersections from drilling at its flagship Heemskirk tin project in Tasmania.

The company received assay results from drilling at its Severn prospect, where its second-best intercept from the prospect was recorded at 36.6 metres at 1.07 per cent tin and 0.19 per cent copper from 471.5 metres including 12 metres at 2.12 per cent zinc and 0.23 per cent copper from 485 metres.

More than 2570 metres of the planned 3130 metres of drilling have been completed to date.

Three infill holes were also drilled to target areas of thicker and higher-grade tin mineralisation to expand the Severn indicated mineral resource have been completed, with a fourth hole underway.

Executive Director Gary Fietz says the company is delighted by the results which rank among the best intercepts ever recorded at Severn.

“The phase 2A drill program is progressing well, with all results expected to be incorporated into the October mineral resource update in preparation for the Heemskirk Tin Project scoping study planned for completion in November,” he said.

Stellar Resources has ended the day 16.7 per cent in the green with shares trading at 1.8 cents.
