Most sectors are in positive territory today; Energy has been the best-performing sector, up 0.8%, followed by Utilities, up 0.75%, and Staples, up 0.66%.

Industrials is the worst-performing, down 0.25%.

Pancontinental Energy (ASX:PCL) has been among the most watched companies on HotCopper forums today. The petroleum explorer has been down -53% after an update relating to its estimates of prospective resources at the PEL 87 project in the Orange Basin offshore Namibia.

Larvotto Resources (ASX:LRV) is also trending after buying Echidna Gully, an established accommodation facility near the Hillgrove Antimony-Gold Project. The acquisition secures a quality accommodation option for the Hillgrove Mine workforce, serving as a central hub for camp operations and support.

Rounding out the most discussed has been Advanced Metals (ASX:AVM) after an update on its maiden drilling at the Myrtleford Project in the Victorian Goldfields.
