Resolution Minerals (ASX:RML) has been the most talked about stock on the HotCopper forums today, and for one big reason: The company fielded an unsolicited $225 million offer to buy its Horse Heaven project.

Listen to the HotCopper podcast for in-depth discussions and insights on all the biggest headlines from throughout the week. On Spotify, Apple, and more.

The Aussie explorer cautioned that the approach won’t necessarily mean they sell the project, but that didn’t stop RML shares plunging -13.2% today.

Also trending has been Amplia Therapeutics (ASX:ATX); the biotech developer dumped as much as -20% value after missing market expectations. My colleague Jonathon Davidson wrote more on that story here.

And, FBR Ltd (ASX:FBR) popped up on the forums after signing a $20 million financing agreement with GEM Global Yield. The deal will run for three years and will be used to fund several R&D projects in FBR’s pipelines.

Looking wider: The ASX 200 is up +0.58% after a slow open.
