Bryah Resources (BYH), in conjunction with Australian Vanadium (AVL), has begun an aircore drilling program at the Gabanintha Project.

The Gabanintha Project lies roughly 40 kilometres south of Meekatharra in Western Australia and covers an area of 170 square kilometres.

Focus will be on the Lady Alma Layered Igneous Complex (LALIC) which is underexplored yet has significant potential to host nickel-copper-gold and platinum group element (PGE) mineralisation.

A total of 5000 metres of aircore drilling will be undertaken on five traverses with aims to define the boundaries of the LALIC.

Work is expected to be complete to three to four weeks with results to be reported on once available.

Drilling will be funded by up to $53,000 under the EIS grant from the Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety.

Managing Director Neil Marston commented on the drilling program.

“Recent exploration has identified that the Lady Alma Layered Igneous Complex hosts copper, nickel, cobalt and gold as well as the high-grade vanadium deposit held by AVL,” Mr Marston said.

“Information from this regional drilling program should advance our understanding of the exploration opportunities within the project area.”

Bryah was up 7.27 per cent on the market with shares trading at 5.9 cents at 1:49 pm AEST.
