White Rock Minerals (WRM) has found a new gold discovery at Pepper Prospect, located at the Last Chance in Alaska.

The Last Chance Prospect is a large, strong and robust gold anomaly defined by 27 stream sediment sample points and was found in 2019.

Notably, the Last Chance area is unexplored with no historic mining claims.

The recent geological reconnaissance follow up of gold stream sediment anomalies identified new areas of the large Last Chance gold system.

Recent rock chip samples from Pepper contained up to 6.5 grams per tonne of gold.

Mineralisation at the prospect extends over one kilometre of strike east-west and is open-ended.

Pepper is located with the prolific Tintina Gold Province, which is home to giant gold deposits including Donlin Creek, Pogo and Fort Knox.

Further rock and soil samples are still pending from the prospect.

Last Chance is within White Rock Minerals Red Mountain Project, located in central Alaska.

On the market, White Rock was down 1.59 per cent and was trading at 31 cents per share at 12:46 pm AEST.
