Aldoro Resources (ARN) has conducted a site visit to the Niobe Project in Western Australia.

This visit aimed to outline the extent of the rubidium footprint over the Pegmatite 2, Pegmatite Southeast Pit and Breakaway prospects.

Aldoro has recently kept its focus on re-evaluating the project’s rubidium potential after reviewing historical data which highlighted encouraging grades.

As part of this, the company announced defining an initial exploration target for the Niobe Project at the end of August. The exploration target stands at between 33,000 and 150,000 tonnes at grades ranging from 696 to 1457 parts per million rubidium oxide.

During the recent field visit, the company collected 46 rock chip samples to determine the lateral extent of the rubidium-bearing pegmatites.

Aldoro used a portable XRF device which found elevated rubidium values are associated with clusters of zinnwaldite micas which extend over the Pegmatite 2 and Breakaway areas.

Chairman Joshua Letcher commented on project visit.

“I was greatly encouraged that the rubidium values were confirmed and we’re looking forward to seeing the analytical laboratory data from the 46 surface rock chip samples collected,” he said.

Aldoro pegged 66 drill hole collars ahead of a reverse circulation drilling program planned for next month.

Company shares ended the day 1.06 per cent in the red to close at 46.5 cents.
