Riedel Resources (RIE) has announced its reverse circulation (RC) drilling program at the Kingman gold project in Arizona continued on schedule with results due later this month.

This drill program continued focussing on the Tintic area, where previous drilling and assays confirmed the presence of shallow sitting silver and gold.

The program started in late September and included 48 drill holes, for over 4168 metres of ground, with depths of 30 to 120 metres. Four holes were drilled at Merrimac and the rest at the Tintic mine area.

Riedel Chairman Michael Bohm said results from the drilling with be released as soon as they are completed.

“We will announce the drill assay results as they come to hand, and we continue to target later this month for receipt of first assays, subject of course to laboratory turnaround times,” he said.

“The team has now drilled holes in a zone stretching approximately 600 metres in a north west/south-east direction along the Tintic trend, which provides us great coverage over the Tintic anomaly.”

Kingman was previously mined between the 1880s till the 1940s for high-grade silver and gold. Thereafter, some minor drilling activity was recording in the 1990’s and then again in 2019 through to now.

On the market, Riedel ended the day down 5.26 per cent and traded at 1.8 cents.
