Liontown Resources (LTR) has progressed a Native Title agreement for its Kathleen Valley lithium-tantalum project in the Goldfields-Esperance region of Western Australia. The project tenements are located on Tjiwarl land, which is held under common law native title as recognised by the Federal Court of Australia. LTR has been advised by the Tjiwarl Aboriginal Corporation that the native title holders consent to the signing of the native title agreement for the area. With the consent, documentation is now being finalised and an official signing ceremony to formalise and commemorate the agreement is scheduled for November 17.
