AFT Pharmaceutical’s multi-billion R&D opportunity

Dr Atkinson this week told HotCopper that this latest FDA milestone sets up “a really good portfolio” for the Australian pharmaceutical distributor.

“We now have eight patented products, some are always arguably going to be bigger than others… but, there’s so many interesting projects,” he explained in the interview. “We have some really good R&D projects underway.”

“We have a good indication now that we can succeed. The first two projects were Maxigesic Rapid Tablets and then Maxigesic IV, and now we’ve added a completely different product on as well, so I think people can see that we can convert our ideas and products into something that’s actually tangible.”
