Bryah Resources (BYH) has identified a shallow off-hole conductor at the Windalah Prospect in Western Australia.

The Windalah Prospect is part of the Bryah Basin copper-gold and manganese project which lies between 100 to 150 kilometres north of Meekatharra and covers 1135 square kilometres.

In April, Bryah drilled eight reverse circulation (RC) holes to test below the volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) anomaly identified in previous work.

Five of the RC holes were cased for downhole electromagnetic (DHEM) surveying with work successfully completed on four of the holes.

A DHEM anomaly was identified in two of the holes and has the potential to be caused by sulphide mineral veining potentially associated with gold and copper mineralisation.

Managing Director Neil Marston said the location of the anomaly appeared to be significant as it lay in the right stratigraphic position, near the contact of the Narracoota volcanics and the overlying sediments.

“This stratigraphic location is analogous to the nearby high-grade Horseshoe Lights copper-gold mine,” he said.

This anomaly measures roughly 110 metres in strike and 85 metres in depth and dips towards the southwest.

Samples from the RC drilling are currently at the laboratory and results are due in the next two to three weeks.

“Over the next few weeks, we intend completing a follow-up geophysical survey and aircore drilling program over this shallow exploration target,” Marston added.

Bryah is up 2.74 per cent and shares are trading at 7.5 cents at 1:42 pm AEST.
