  • Real estate investment trust, BWP Trust (BWP) appoints Danielle Carter as Non-Executive External Director
  • Ms Carter has more than 25 years of combines real estate and financial services industry experience

  • On market close for the day, BWP is down 0.73 per cent and trading at $4.10 per share

BWP Trust (BWP) has appointed Danielle Carter as Non-Executive External Director.

Ms Carter has more than 25 years of combined real estate and financial services industry experience. She had held senior roles at BlackRock, SG Hiscock & Company and Strategic Financial Management.

At BlackRock she was a Fund Manager responsible for the listed, unlisted and direct real estate assets and a member of the Australia/Asia Investment Committee.

Additionally, Ms Carter was also previously a Non-Executive Director of APN Property Group, now part of Dexus.

Commenting on the appointment is Chairman Erich Fraunschiel.

“[We are] pleased to welcome Danielle Carter to the board and that her depth of experience across financial services, property investment and funds management will bring valuable and complementary experience to the company and its board,” he said.

Additionally, Mr Fraunschiel has also announced he will retire from the board in the first quarter of the 2022 calendar year.

BWP is a real estate investment trust investing in and managing commercial properties throughout Australia.

The majority of the trust’s properties are large format retailing properties, particularly Bunnings Warehouses.

On market close for the day, BWP was down 0.73 per cent and is trading at $4.10 per share.
